Improper handling of user controlled input caused a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. All previous versions of nbdime are affected.

Recommendation

Update the nbdime-jupyterlab package to the latest compatible version. Followings are version details:

  • Affected version(s): **>= 2.0.0, < 2.1.1 < 1.0.1**
  • Patched version(s): **2.1.1 1.0.1**
